Hildebrand Donations by this Sunday, August 4

Hildebrand Family Self-Help Centre is collecting donations of back to school supplies for children whose families live in shelters or are newly housed. If you would like to donate new items, the following are needed:

• large backpacks in solid colors
• pens
• folders
• notebooks
• pencil pouches
• scissors
• erasers
• to-go tissue packs
• mini hand sanitizers

All of these can be ordered on their Amazon wish list. Please bring to St. John's Church on August 4! Here is a link to the original flier.

St. John's and Trinity "Summer Swap"

Once again St. John’s and Trinity will “swap” services during clergy and musician vacation times. Please mark your calendars accordingly!

• Sundays in July will be hosted at Trinity Parish of Newton Centre, 10:00am
• Sundays in August will be hosted at St. John’s Church, Newtonville, 9:00am, except Sunday August 25, when the liturgy will be at 5:00pm, followed by a cookout

Trinity Parish Continues to Follow 'Mask Friendly' Protocols

The parish vestry voted in 2022 to go "mask friendly"; that is, unless otherwise indicated, masks are optional at Trinity Parish. Please note that, pending further guidance from the Diocese and local infection rates, the church may in future return to requiring face coverings for in-person gatherings.

Centre St. Food Pantry Wish List

Located at 11 Homer Street in Newton Centre on the lower level of Trinity Church, the Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank.  It is open most Tuesdays from 2:30–5:30pm and the third Saturday of each month from 11:30am–2pm.

New households are asked to fill out the Online Pantry Registration Form or print and fill out this paper form. If you live in Newton and wish to be added to the CSFP delivery list, send an E-mail with your name, phone number, city, and family size. If you live in Boston, click here to find resources available for those in need of food.
